NEW YORK—Shares of telecommunications equipment makers fluctuated Monday morning as Wall Street wavered ahead of the week's earnings reports and Federal Reserve policy meeting.

Juniper Networks continued to climb following last week's solid first-quarter report.

Here is a look at how some key telecom equipment stocks performed Monday morning:

Cisco Systems Inc. rose 9 cents to $25.69.

Alcatel-Lucent's American Depositary Shares rose 4 cents to $6.87.

Nortel Networks Corp., fell 9 cents to $8.27.

Juniper Networks Inc., rose 64 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $27.35.
