McAfee names former Glu Mobile exec as financial chief

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—Security software maker McAfee Inc. said Wednesday it named Albert A. Pimentel as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, effective May 15.

He will be responsible for leading all worldwide finance, IT, facilities and manufacturing functions, reporting to Chief Executive and President Dave DeWalt.

Pimentel most recently served as chief financial officer of Glu Mobile, and before than as CFO of Zone Labs, which merged with Check Point Software.
