NEW YORK—Telecommunications equipment companies inched mostly higher Friday as Wall Street advanced after a better-than expected jobs report. Nortel, however, erased earlier gains and fell slightly after posting a wider first-quarter loss.
How some key telecom equipment stocks performed Friday:
Cisco Systems Inc. rose 8 cents to $26.75.
Alcatel-Lucent's American Depositary Shares climbed 20 cents, or 3 percent, to $6.93.
Nortel Networks Corp., fell 21 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $8.49.
Juniper Networks Inc., rose 17 cents to $28.79.![]()
