RiskMetrics raises low end of 2008 revenue outlook

NEW YORK—RiskMetrics Group Inc., a provider of risk management and corporate governance services for the financial markets, on Thursday narrowed its 2008 revenue outlook, raising the low end of its estimate.

RiskMetrics now expects its 2008 revenue to range between $290 million and $295 million. It previously estimated it would range between $285 million and $295 million.

Analysts polled by Thomson Financial, on average, forecast full-year revenue of $289.7 million.

RiskMetrics expects renewal rates among customers to range between 89 percent and 91 percent.
