FALLS CHURCH, Va.—Information-technology services provider Computer Sciences Corp. said Thursday it signed a new six-year, $22 million outsourcing contract with Urenco, a supplier of enriched uranium to nuclear power utilities.

The contract follows a seven-year contract Urenco awarded to CSC in March 2007, the company said.

CSC already provides IT services to U.K.-based Urenco. The new contract also covers Louisiana Energy Services LLC, the subsidiary of Urenco responsible for the building and operation of the company's new National Enrichment Facility in New Mexico. The facility will be Urenco's first U.S.-based plant.

Shares of Computer Sciences rose 55 cents to close at $47.92.
