WASHINGTON—ViaSat Inc., a producer of satellite and digital communication products, received a $9.8 million Navy contract to supply terminals that provide digital battlefield views and high-capacity, jam-resistant data connections, the Pentagon said late Wednesday.
The terminals are used with the Joint Tactical Radio System, an integrated communications network that connects aircraft, ships and ground stations across the military.
Shares of Carlsbad, Calif.-based ViaSat added 30 cents to $22.37 Wednesday.![]()
