Ikon expects flat revenue in 2008

MALVERN, Pa. --Ikon Office Solutions, which sells and supports digital copiers and printers, said Thursday it expects revenue to be flat in fiscal 2008.

That implies revenue of about $4.17 billion. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial, on average, predict revenue of $4.18 billion.

The company predicts earnings of $1 to $1.05 for the year, while analysts expect a profit of 99 cents per share.

For the fourth quarter, Ikon expects a profit of 25 cents to 30 cents per share, excluding a restructuring charge of 4 cents per share and a loss on early extinguishment of debt in the third quarter of 3 cents per share.

Analysts expect a profit of 28 cents per share.
