NEW YORK—Shares of some top internet companies were down at the close of trading:
Akamai Technologies fell $.35 or 1.5 percent, to $22.57.
Amazon fell $1.82 or 2.2 percent, to $81.29.
eBay fell $.12 or .5 percent, to $25.39.
Google fell $7.80 or 1.6 percent, to $490.50.
Yahoo fell $.31 or 1.6 percent, to $19.42.
