NEW YORK—Shares of some top computers companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Apple Inc rose $2.31 or 1.3 percent, to $175.84.
Dell Inc rose $.53 or 2.2 percent, to $24.97.
Hewlett Packard rose $2.47 or 5.7 percent, to $46.16.
IBM fell $.05 or percent, to $122.51.
Lexmark rose $.39 or 1.1 percent, to $35.99.
