Akamai Technologies fell $.79 or 3.9 percent, to $19.64.
Amazon fell $2.74 or 3.4 percent, to $78.03.
eBay fell $.43 or 1.8 percent, to $23.81.
Google fell $14.15 or 3.0 percent, to $450.26.
Yahoo fell $1.01 or 5.4 percent, to $17.75.
