Avid Technology Inc. is moving its headquarters from Tewksbury to Burlington, signing up for 200,000 square feet in the largest lease transaction in the suburbs this year.
Avid will occupy two buildings on the Network Drive office campus and another in Northwest Park, where Nordblom Co. is building a 285-acre complex with offices, stores, and residences along Middlesex Turnpike. A footbridge will connect Avid’s offices at 65 and 75 Network Drive.
Northwest Park, with 2.5 million square feet of office space, would grow to 4.6 million square feet under Nordblom’s plans. A road connecting Network Drive and Northwest Park is scheduled to be finished in June.
Avid sells digital media content creation solutions for film, video, audio, and broadcast professionals, as well as for artists and home enthusiasts.
