PROVIDENCE — The closing date on a $75 million Rhode Island loan guarantee to Curt Schilling’s video game development company has been pushed back until October.

The deal, which has been slammed by political candidates and others who fear it puts taxpayer dollars at risk, was expected to close this month. But Robert Stolzman, a lawyer for the state Economic Development Corporation, said the deal won’t close until October.
Stolzman said the deal involves lots of details, and there’s no one reason or problem that has changed the closing date.![]()
