Start-up arranges tribute to military
A project that was hatched two weeks ago in Boston’s “Innovation District’’ on the South Boston waterfront is launching tomorrow with the ambitious goal of leveraging social media to honor U.S. military veterans. The project, called Vthankyou, began as a casual conversation at MassChallenge, a start-up incubator that hosts and mentors young companies, most of them focused on new media. An anonymous donor contributed $5000 to the project, enabling a fundraising model to pitch to the social media crowd.
