As Facebook approaches its launch on the stock market, expected some time this spring, investors won’t be the only ones watching closely. Executives and employees at the more than 200 companies in the US that are also registered to go public, including eight in Massachusetts, will also be tracking Facebook’s every move, looking for indicators that signal whether the time is right for them to get off the fence, price shares, and offer investors a stake in their companies.
