Ira Jackson, former BankBoston executive, named dean of Calif. business school

Ira A. Jackson, the former executive vice president of BankBoston and commissioner of the state Department of Revenue, has been named dean of the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, Calif.
After leaving Boston in 2002 following a stint running the Center for Business and Government at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, Jackson was named president of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation in Atlanta, Ga. He was most recently chief executive of the Arizona State University Foundation.
