Lottery extends contract with Scientific Games

Instant lottery ticket provider Scientific Games Corp. of New York said today it received a one-year, $12.5 million extension on its contract with the Massachusetts Lottery.
The extension runs from August 2006 through August 2007. The contract also includes two more option years through August 2009.
Shares of Scientific Games were down 26 cents to $35.64 in morning trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market. (AP)
