Casual Male Retail Group Inc., a retailer of clothing for large men, said today that it posted a slimmer fiscal third-quarter loss on sharply higher sales.
Casual Male, which is based in Canton, reported a loss of $844,000, or 2 cents per share, in the three months ended Oct. 28, compared with a year-ago loss of $2.8 million, or 8 cents per share.
The current period included a charge of $1.2 million, or 2 cents per share, for early termination of employee contracts. Stripping out the charge, the company would have earned nil per share in the quarter, versus an adjusted loss of 5 cents per share, a year earlier. (AP)
