General Dynamics gets Marine Corps contract

Military contractor General Dynamics Corp. said its C4 Systems unit received a $45.6 million Marine Corps contract to make tactical data network systems that enable communication among troops on the battlefield.

General Dynamics, which makes the Stryker armored vehicle and Abrams tank, said it will do the work at its Taunton, Mass., facility. It expects to make deliveries in March.

General Dynamics shares fell 23 cents to $73.31 in recent trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
