Brainshark chooses Softrax software

Softrax Corp., a Canton provider of billing and revenue management software, said Brainshark Inc. has selected one of its products to automate Brainshark's financial infrastructure.

Brainshark is a Waltham firm that helps its customers do such things as make more effective PowerPoint presentations; according to Brainshark, its patented technologies and suite of offerings empower people to create, manage, and share on-demand presentations that combine voice, visuals, and documents for high-impact viewing.

Such companies are sometimes known as software-as-a-service, or SaaS, providers.

"Our experience providing automation solutions for SaaS business models will enable Brainshark to easily scale their finance operations to meet their growth objectives," Softrax vice president of marketing Gottfried Sehringer said in a statement.
