MKS Instruments names Bertucci chairman

mks.jpgMKS Instruments Inc., which makes monitoring and control technologies for semiconductor makers, said today that John R. Bertucci will retire as executive chairman at the end of the month and become chairman, effective Jan. 1.

Bertucci, 65 years old, joined the company, which is based in Wilmington, in 1970. He has been executive chairman since 1995 and served as chief executive from 1995 to 2005. (AP)
