ModusLink Corp., a Waltham subsidiary of CMGI Inc. that focuses on supply-chain management, said that Newton Peripherals LLC of Natick has selected it as its global supply-chain services provider.
ModusLink said one of its mandates is to support growing demand for a new product from Newton Peripherals called MoGo MouseBT, a business card-sized, BlueTooth-enabled mouse that business travelers can use with their laptops.
"In today's fiercely competitive consumer-electronics market, a streamlined supply chain is a key differentiator for companies driving both profitability and consumer loyalty," CMGI chief executive Joseph C. Lawler said in a statement.
