Raytheon wins radar contract

The US Special Operations Command has awarded a contract worth up to $164.2 million to a unit of Raytheon Co.
McKinney, Texas-based Raytheon Co. Precision Attack and Surveillance Systems will provide system design and development for Silent Knight Radar, which will provide support to the Special Operations Command. It provides training and support to foreign military services.
Work will be completed by Dec. 30, 2013.
Raytheon shares gained 21 cents at $52.38.
