Sonus Networks Inc., a Chelmsford provider of VoIP infrastructure products, said today that a Central European telecommunications company has selected one of its products to be the backbone of an updated voice network.
Sonus said that a company called eTel, an Internet service provider and fixed telephony service, plans to use the company's Voice over Broadband, VoBB, network infrastructure as the foundation for its next generation voice network.
Sonus said the network infrastructure will be delivered to eTel through its strategic partner, NK Networks & Services.
