$24m purchase of Fort Point building completed

Brickman Associates completed its $23.8 million purchase of the Harbor Corporate Center from Archon Group LP.

The Harbor Corporate Center is a six-story building at 300 A St. across the Fort Point Channel from Boston's Financial District, said Jones Lang LaSalle, which represented the seller in the transaction and procured the buyer; the building was constructed in 1904 and completely renovated in 2005.

Archon is a full-service commercial real estate firm based in Texas, and Brickman Associates is a real estate firm headquartered in New York, Jones Lang LaSalle said.

The center is currently 96 percent lease to five tenants including Elkus|Manfredi Architects Ltd., Jones Lang LaSalle said.
