Azimuth Systems Inc. has been honored for equipment that tests WiFi products.

The Acton vendor of wireless test equipment said today that it has received a 2007 Frost & Sullivan Product Innovation of the Year Award for its Ace-400NB multiple-input, multiple-output, or MIMO, channel emulator.

Frost & Sullivan is a global consulting company.

According to Azimuth, it brought the WiFi industry's first fully automated MIMO channel emulator to market with the debut of the Ace-400NB platform, which addresses the complex needs of MIMO testing with an easy-to-use system.

"Azimuth Systems has continually developed products that address the growing need to more efficiently test mobile devices, and its innovation is applauded by Frost & Sullivan with this award," Frost & Sullivan analysts Narendran Vaideeswaran said in a statement.
