Breakfast sandwiches and egg entrees at Finagle A Bagel will now feature "cage free eggs."

The Newton chain said it will get eggs from Pete and Gerry's, a family farm in Monroe, N.H.

One Pete and Gerry's egg brand that Finagle a Bagel will feature is Nellie's Nest, whose motto is, "They roam where they please."

The roamers in question are "free walking hens," according to the Nellie's Nest website.

"The farm is dedicated to providing the highest quality of eggs," Finagle copresident Laura Trust said. "The hens are raised in a humane and comfortable environment."
