Arnold Worldwide, a Boston advertising agency, has lost the Celebrity Cruises account.
Royal Carribbean Cruises Ltd., of Miami, operates two cruise-ship brands, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean; Arnold said it will continue creating ads for the Royal Caribbean brand.
Adweek, a trade publication, reported that Celebrity has hired Element 79 Partners, of Chicago, to create new ads. Citing industry data, Adweek estimated that Celebrity spent $15 million on 2006 ads through September.
In a prepared statement, Pam Hamlin, president of Arnold's Boston office, said, "We love the cruise business and look forward to our continued partnership with Royal Caribbean."
