Evergreen promotes Riazati

Evergreen Investments has promoted Abe Riazati to be its managing director of investment risk management.
Riazati succeeds Glen Insley, who is retiring after 15 years with the firm, Evergreen Investments of Boston said today.
In his new role, Riazati will have oversight of investment risk management for Evergreen's suite of products across the firm's $270 billion asset base, and Riazati and his team will work as independent, objective investor advocates by monitoring risk levels within the firm's investment portfolios, Evergreen Investments said.
Evergreen Investments is the brand name under which Wachovia Corp. conducts its investment management business; Wachovia is a multi-bank holding company based in North Carolina.
