Marriott to parents: kids eat free

Kids eat free at full-service Marriott Hotels in Boston through March 31.

That's the come-on for the chain's new "Escape! Family Time" vacation value package; if families reserve rooms as part of this package, their children 12 and under can get free lunch, not to mention free breakfast and dinner.

There are conditions, of course: Children must order from the "Kids Only" menu at "participating hotel restaurants," and the children must be accompanied by an adult ordering from the hotel restaurant menu, Marriott said.

Besides Boston, Marriott is offering its new family value package at its full-service hotels in New York and Washington, D.C.
