Pryamis Global hires Galizio and Balter

Pryamis Global Advisors of Boston has appointed Christopher M. Galizio and Stephen A. Balter as portfolio managers.

Pyramis Global Advisors is a Fidelity Investments company.

In their new roles, Galizio and Balter will manage domestic equity growth portfolios for institutional clients, Pyramis said.

Galizio and Balter recently served as portfolio managers at Pioneer Investments in Boston, Pyramis said.

"The addition of Chris and Steve to the Pyramis domestic equity management team will allow us to add further depth to our investment capabilities on behalf of our clients," Young D. Chin, chief investment officer for Pyramis, said in a statement.
