Raytheon gets $101m missile contract

The Navy today awarded a $101.1 million contract to Raytheon Co. to supply 376 missiles for the Air Force and Navy's joint standoff weapons program.

The JSOW is a low-cost, highly lethal system that can be used on a variety of land and sea targets.

The Waltham-based company will perform the work in Tucson, Ariz., by February 2009.

Shares of Raytheon gained 31 cents to close at $51.90.
