Swipe It upgrades gift-card site

Swipe It Technology has revamped its website to create "a gift card super store" for mom-and-pop retailers.

Headquartered in Sharon, Swipe It Technology helps its retail customers develop stored value products and services, and the company said it recently gave its website an "extreme makeover" to make it easier for small and medium-sized merchants and restaurant owners to offer gift-card programs similar to those made popular by retail's larger players.

"Our revamped website gives merchants a number of online tools to get a gift card or loyalty program started quickly, but it also provides invaluable services to those merchants who are already running their own gift and loyalty programs," company president Laurence Rubin said in a statement.
