Azimuth joins telecom alliance

Azimuth Systems Inc. joined the Fixed-Mobile Convergence Alliance, an association of telecom operators looking to accelerate the development of convergence products and services.
Azimuth, an Acton company that provides WiFi engineering test equipment, said today it has become an associate member of the alliance.
"The fixed-mobile convergence market is a significant opportunity for Azimuth because of our unique ability to test to the stringent product quality demands of voice-over WiFi services," Jeff Abramowitz, Azimuth Systems vice president, said in a statement.
