A new spud-duds clothing line from that peerless haberdasher Mr. Potato Head? Or perhaps a signature hoodie from the G.I. Joe collection?

Those are among the possibilities after Rhode Island toy maker Hasbro Inc. disclosed today that its licensing team, HPG, has entered into an licensing agreement that will launch an extensive apparel collection at Steve & Barry's, a New York-based lifestyle apparel retail chain.

According to Hasbro, the deal includes 12 properties, including G.I. Joe and Mr. Potato Head, and it is the largest line-up that HPG has granted to any single licensee in the apparel category to date; the agreement will result in a range of Hasbro-inspired apparel including hoodies, casual bottoms, and outerwear.

"We are delighted to be working with Steve & Barry's to extend Hasbro brands in cool and trend-right ways," HPG president Jane Ritson-Parsons said in a statement.
