Parametric now speaks 9 languages
Parametric Technology Corp. said today that its latest release of engineering calculation software will allow for collaboration in nine languages.
The languages include English, Spanish, Korean, and two kinds of Chinese.
The Needham company, which is also known as PTC, develops, markets, and supports integrated product development and product lifecycle management solutions.
PTC's engineering calculation software is called Mathcad 14.0 and is currently available in English, but it will soon be available in other languages as well.
Expanded language support in Mathcad 14.0 will enable geographically dispersed teams to solve and document calculations in their local language, which ultimately improves efficiencies by increasing speed and accuracy as well as reducing potential errors that may occur from language translation, the company said.
