Raytheon gets $24m Army deal

The U.S. Army said Tuesday it awarded a $24.2 million contract to Raytheon Co. to provide upgrades on Patriot Pac-2 missiles for the Kuwaiti ministry.
The defense firm will provide guidance enhanced missiles and generator upgrades for the government of Kuwait on the Pac-2 missile program. The Army granted the deal on Feb. 8.
Work will be performed in Andover, Mass., through April 30, 2009.
Shares of Raytheon gained 72 cents to finish at $55.26 on the New York Stock Exchange. (AP)
