Schwartz reports strong 2006

Waltham public relations firm Schwartz Communications said today its 2006 billings rose 23 percent.
Founded in 1990, Schwartz Communications focuses on the high-technology, medical-device, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology industries; it said it had record 189 accounts at the end of 2006.
"2006 billings growth greatly outpaced the industry," president Steve Schwartz said in a statement. "In addition, in November 2006, we took a major step in the internationalization of the industry, with the opening of our European headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, a center of technical innovation and investment."
