Watchfire is crowing that it was crowned best security company at a recent industry conference.
Watchfire of Waltham provides Web application security software, and it said its AppScan product also won several individual awards.
The awards were conferred by SC Magazine, which bills itself as a trade publication for security professionals.
"Winning one SC Magazine award is a tremendous honor, much less three out of only five excellence awards given," Watchfire chief executive Peter McKay said in a statement.
