Azimuth Systems Inc. said today that British Telecom is using some of its wi-fi test equipment.

The wireless technology made by the Acton company allows engineers to test the performance of wireless devices and networks that support data, voice, and video applications.

Azimuth Systems said British Telecom is using its Fixed-Mobile Convergence Performance equipment.

"Azimuth's leadership in wi-fi testing makes us well suited to meet the needs of innovative technology leaders such as[ British Telecom] in their deployment of exciting new products and services," Jeff Abramowitz, an Azimuth Systems vice president, said in a statement.
