Fuze sold to Coca-Cola

Newton private equity firm Castanea Partners announced today the completion of the sale of Fuze Beverage LLC to the Coca-Cola Co.

The statement issued by Castanea Partners did not include a purchase price.

Based in New Jersey, Fuze makes products that fall into the so-called New Age beverage category and that include non-carbonated lines of enhanced juice and tea drinks.

Since Castanea's investment, Fuze has experienced rapid growth and developed a nationally recognized brand, Castanea said.
