Implant Sciences Corp. said today it has accepted an order for its explosive detectors from the Republic of Iraq.
The Wakefield developer of products for the national security, semiconductor, and medical industries said it has received an order for eight units of its Quantum Sniffer handheld explosives detector.
The order was placed by Iraq's Ministry of the Interior, the company said.
"This order represents the company's first sales in the Republic of Iraq," Joanne Arsenault, an Implant Sciences vice president, said in a statement.
