Noodles, more ice cream on the menu
This may whet the appetites of those who enjoy noodles and ice cream, though not necessarily at the same time.
Wagamama, a British chain of noodle bars, said it will open a restaurant at Faneuil Hall Marketplace next month, and plans to open another one in Harvard Square this summer.

Meanwhile, Cold Stone Creamery plans to crank up its local expansion.
The Arizona-based franchise company has 17 ice cream stores up and running in Massachusetts, with another 20 in the works, said Meredith Bryan, a Cold Stone Creamery area developer.
Bryan hopes to persuade new and existing franchisees to push the Massachusetts total up to 60 within a few years.
"We've enjoyed a tremendous reception across the state," Bryan noted in a statement.
