Papa Gino's staying put in Dedham
Papa Gino's Holding Corp. renewed the lease for its headquarters at 600 Providence Highway in Dedham, its real estate broker said today.
Meredith & Grew, a Boston-based commercial real estate firm that represented Papa Gino's, said the pizza-and-sandwich restaurant company leases 39,083 square feet from the building's landlord, 71 Summer Street Realty Trust.
Specifics of the transaction were not disclosed, but the lease includes an extension option, Meredith & Grew said.
"The extension option provided Papa Gino's the opportunity to secure a long-term home with the ability to accommodate future growth," Meredith & Grew senior vice president John A. Carroll III said in a statement.
The restaurant company also operates the D'Angelo grilled sandwiches chain.
Last week, a Globe story reported that Papa Gino's plans to expand outside of New England for the first time and double the number of its pizzerias to 335 over the next five years.
