Salem Five offers remote deposit

Salem Five Bank debuted a new remote deposit service for commercial customers.

Remote Deposit allows businesses to process checks and deposits electronically from their place of business, improving their overall cash flow through accelerating check processing, the bank said; using image technology, businesses produce electronic deposits from check images.

"We are continually seeking out ways to provide our customers with the best and most effective products and services," Salem Five chief executive Joseph M. Gibbons said in a statement.
