State Street Global Advisors, the investment management arm of State Street Corp., is revamping the sales and relationship management team that caters to financial intermediaries, calling it the Intermediary Business Group.

As a result of the restructuring, State Street disclosed several promotions.

Dodd Kittsley has been appointed director of the strategy and research group, and Rich Koerner is now national sales director focusing on broker dealer firms. In addition, Kevin Quigg has been appointed director of sales focusing on wealth managers, and Jill Iacono is director of national accounts, State Street said.

"This new approach is the latest step in our strategy to accelerate State Street's growth in exchange traded funds, mutual funds, and separately managed accounts while aligning our resources to best serve the distinct needs of each specific channel," Anthony Rochte, senior managing director of State Street Global Advisors, said in a statement.
