Verizon Communications Inc. said it has made its FiOS TV service available to 9,000 households in Medfield and Wilmington.
According to Verizon, its fiber-optic television service offers superior clarity and more choices than other TV options.
Medfield and Wilmington are among 39 Massachusetts communities where the FiOS TV service is currently available; Verizon said it is currently negotiating with 25 other Bay State communities to obtain additional franchises, the company said.
Headquartered in New York, Verizon delivers broadband and other wireline and wireless services to businesses and consumers.
