The Hopkinton biotechnology company Boston Life Sciences Inc. dismissed its independent accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The accounting firm, on its fiscal reports for Boston Life Sciences' 2005 and 2006 results, included a paragraph expressing substantial doubt the company could continue operating.

Boston Life Sciences chose McGladrey & Pullen LLP to audit its fiscal 2007 results.
