The Cambridge Health Alliance said today that a survey has named it as one of the 100 most integrated health networks in the country.

The survey is conducted by Verispan, an independent research firm with corporate headquarters in Pennsylvania.

Verispan used a 100-point scale to evaluate 587 regional health networks around the country and focused on such factors as patient access, clinical quality, and the use of technology, said the Cambridge Health Alliance, which besides Cambridge serves such communities as Chelsea, Everett, Medford, and Somerville.

The alliance said it earned a 80.64 score, good for 49th position in the current ranking and up from the alliance's position of 81 in the previous ranking.
