Massachusetts gasoline prices rose an average of 2 cents per gallon over the past week, the smallest weekly gain in more than a month.
Today's statewide survey by AAA of Southern New England found an average price of $2.76 per gallon of self-service regular unleaded, compared with $2.74 a week ago.
The gain was the smallest since a March 19 survey showed a weekly increase of a penny per gallon. Gas prices are up 61 cents per gallon from early February.
However, Massachusetts gas prices remain below the national average. A Lundberg survey released Sunday found an average US price of more than $2.87 per gallon.
