PolyMedica shuffles executives

PolyMedica Corp., a Wakefield provider of blood glucose testing supplies and services, today said it named chief operating officer Stephen C. Farrell as president.

Farrell, 41, has held previous posts including chief financial officer of PolyMedica and president of Liberty Healthcare group. He joined PolyMedica in 1999.

Chief executive Patrick Ryan previously held the president title.

Chief financial officer Keith W. Jones, 40, will replace Farrell as chief operating officer.

Jonathan A. Starr, 36, will replace Jones as chief financial officer. He was senior vice president and chief financial officer of PolyMedica's Liberty Healthcare Group.
